Leeds indie rockers Apollo Junction roar back into our consciousness with their latest release the superb 'Borderlines.
Jonathan Thorton's tribal drumbeat sets the tone for this catchy high energy tune.
I can hear so many different layers to this single, some parts are very 'Smiths'-esque (yes it's a word now) whilst other parts even remind me of some of Marilyn Manson's greatest work (no doubt aided by the moody monotone video). The track is superbly produced, and the soaring guitar riff blends effortlessly with the punchy bassline accompanied by a superb 80's soundingsynth.Jamie Williamson's anthemic chorus is sure to make this a fan favourite when live music returns and 2021 looks like it could be a fantastic year for the Yorkshire group.
