Introducing, Calling Alaska, a pop punk/alternative three piece from in and around the North West.
The band have in recent months been busy gigging to promote their latest single Start a new life and now writing and with even more dates on their event calendar on the run up to their E.P release, which they hope to release shortly.
Start a New Life is a definite homage to punk bands such as Blink 182 and maybe Good Charlotte. Their choice of style will set them apart from the amount of bands choosing to play the increasingly popular blues, classic rock style, which has saturated the music scene making it hard for any one band to stand out.
We at Softlad are eager to hear them play live and to see their energy on stage, which we can only get a taste of through their recorded offerings. The band will no doubt have a great set to perform and we are looking forward to it.
