Softlad introduces Camens, a indie/alternative four piece from Staffordshire. Relatively new on the scene, but have hit the ground running performing at gigs in and around the UK.
More recently they have released their debut EP Boys Will Stray which has gathered interest and positive reviews alike.
"Boys Will Stray is the first in a string of single releases that will showcase and share a philosophy and world view born out of the joys and challenges of everyday life. Not everybody enjoys the perfections of Instagram filtered heaven. This is chapter one in a manifesto for now"
Definitely a band to take notice of and having listened to their debut EP, there's definitely plenty to notice and by attention to. Very well written and with a relentless tempo throughout. Reminiscent of The Courteeners when they first came out on the scene and with a hint of punk, the band have released a track which has rightfully so ticked all of the boxes. I personally can't wait to see these live and would say so far in our event countdown, the night is already shaping up to be a night to remember.
