REVIEW - Silver by Shader

Northwest four-piece indie rock band Shader have today unleashed their latest single "Silver" upon the public. The song follows on from past releases

Broken Minds and Streets Tell Stories both of which were received well and left us wanting more.

Silver's intro delays the songs intro with some raw sounding guitar sounds, a nice effect. When the song starts, it starts with a guitar riff reminiscent of the likes of The Killers' early sound, which strikes the right chord for me at least. The song however goes on to prove their sound is unique and unlike no other.

The song goes on to introduce the singer, Stu Whiston's vocals, full of attitude, echo and power; the lyrics he sings throughout full of meaning and resonance. Deft guitar, bass and drum performances carries us through the song providing breaks throughout to not make the song sound repetitive. The song leads us to a powerful finale where it then finishes as it started with raw sounding guitar.

Overall, the song is a foot-stomper which will be a fan favorite at their live gigs and will also fit right in along side other well-produced songs in any Spotify, Itunes or Google Play playlist. Its definitely in our Spotify playlist.
